And the release would weight the size of the video rather than just an. If so, we'd need to re-encode the video with the subs in them through Aegisub (I think I saw an option to do that, but I wouldn't bet my hand on it). Weeeeell, sorry to be ignorant but what's the difference between hard sub and soft sub ? Are hard subs already in the video (like melt in it) and soft sub linked to a file? If that could be set up, that would be rather great cause I'm sure the fan meeting tour could also end up being translated in chinese and so potentially in english (I've watched half of it, but I'm only grasping a few things from there and there). Since there is a strong demand for the english subs and that chinese subs are available for each concert (I even think they're out for the Dream Sensation Live), would it be a bad idea to make a small funding to hire a translator to translate those subs in english ? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would agree to donate money to get english subs. And after some researches it appears that there are chinese people who take the time to translate everything for each concert (with nice additions like coloring the text depending on the Seiyuu speaking). There is actually one courageous guy who did translate chinese subs for the New Year Live (the whole concert), and half of the 3rd Live. Ok so I've had this idea in my head for quite a time, but the fundraiser for the wikia made me think that it could actually be something possible.Īs probably anyone here, I'm really interested by what the girls say during their concerts and considering the fame of Love Live in the world I'm rather surprised to see that there are almost no english subs available.
